Congratulations to Anika Keuck on viola and Owen Dalton on oboe that were selected for the South African National Youth Orchestra (SANYO). This is a great honour and we are exceptionally proud of these 2 students. Only two South African oboe players were chosen with Owen being one of them. Anika has been chosen for SANYO for the 4th consecutive year. No small feat for such young players. Tutor Lize Brown on flute & piccolo serves on the SANYO organising committee, but will also be joining SANYO as a player this year. They will be rehearsing and performing with SANYO in Cape Town, from 10 – 17 July. Your hard work, dedication and passion for music has certainly paid off.
